Honey Sunbutter Iced Latte
Hello again! Today’s recipe is for my fellow bean juice drinkers. This recipe uses regular milk, but in the interests of me and my dairy intolerant brethren I made it with coconut milk. It doesn’t froth as well, in my opinion, but it’s still pretty tasty. You can use the alternative milk of your choice, of course! (Oh, and if you want to make this later in the day, use decaf and maayyybe a little bit of bourbon.)
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of any type of milk
3 tablespoons of Vanilla Sea Salt Sunbutter
3 tablespoons of honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup espresso or strong coffee (French pressed works great!)
Instructions
In a small saucepan over medium heat combine all the ingredients except for the coffee, stirring until smooth. When the mixture is steaming, use a whisk, a small hand mixer, or a milk frother if you have one the froth the milk until it’s nice and foamy
Divide the coffee between glasses, pouring over ice. Use lots of ice, by the way, to make sure the coffee and the milk get good and cold.
Pour milk over coffee and serve immediately.
