Mmmm… Sunbutter Affogato

I just stumbled upon a dessert that I’m sure everyone but me has previously heard of: the affogato. How have I never had this coffee and cream concoction? It’s way easier than something this indulgent should be. Most recipes call for two shots of espresso, I just popped an espresso K-cup in the machine, and a cup of brewed coffee works great as well. Make sure the coffee is warm and the glass is cold. Add some Vanilla Sea Salt Sunbutter for a little texture and voila!

Oh, and I promise I’m not a drunk, but some Kahlua in the dish is really, really good!

Ingredients

4 ounces espresso

2 scoops vanilla bean ice cream (So Delicious has a dairy free option)

About a tablespoon of Vanilla Sea Salt Sunbutter

Kahlua (optional)

Instructions

In a very cold glass, add a scoop of the ice cream

Add the Sunbutter

Pour the coffee or espresso over both

Enjoy!
